Jon Baird, Managing Director, is responsible for CAMESE’s administration, member services and government relations. He has more than 28 years of experience in international marketing to the mining industry and speaks English, French, Spanish, German and Swiss-German. In the course of his business career, he has visited 71 countries.

Spencer Ramshaw, Director–Information and Communication, assists CAMESE in reaching its goals to increase the association’s public profile and services to members within all mining supply subsectors by managing computer systems and databases, analyzing, coordinating publication production, communicating and advising on policy. Via special reports, Spencer further enables CAMESE’s leadership role in gaining government support for members’ promotions, operations and trading activities outside of Canada.

Linda Collins, Office Manager, has been with CAMESE since 1987. Prior to that date, she worked for a variety of mining supply companies. Well-known to members, Linda is responsible for all the day-to-day administration of the association. 
 
 

 

Roy Jakola, Director- Business Development, manages CAMESE's member services and field participation in trade shows, missions and similar projects. He has spent his career in the mining world beginning as an underground miner, and progressively working with a variety of mining technologies and services in the value chain. With his knowledge of the mining sector, Roy is well suited to help CAMESE members establish and grow their presence in the international mining market.

Dolores Wharton, Exhibition Manager, looks after trade show logistics, ensuring that all arrangements are taken care of and deadlines are met so that our exhibitors have the best possible experience. Fluent in Spanish, she also supervises and attends selected trade shows through the year. 

 

 

Bonnie Toews, Managing Editor of CAMESE’s annual Compendium and Web Site Content, is a former trade journalist and editorial director of 30 trade publications. She uses her publishing background to help members present their corporate profiles in a professional manner, continually updates their information and directs the editorial material/design management of the annual Compendium.
