At Micromine we are committed to providing innovative software solutions for the global minerals resource industry. That’s why we are currently investing over US$10.5 million into the development of a revolutionary new platform for mining and exploration software.
Over the next three years we will be developing MasterMine, a project that is being supported by a grant of over US$4.5 million awarded to us by the Australian government’s Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. This is the third time Micromine has been awarded these research funds, which reflects the trust that the Australian government has placed in our company and our solutions.
With this grant, Micromine will be leading the field in a drive for technology that is sweeping the mining industry around the world and MasterMine will be one of the largest ever mining software development projects to be carried out. We will be increasing our product development team by more than 30% in order to facilitate the new project.
Featuring the latest technology and engineering know-how, MasterMine will focus on evolving Micromine’s existing solutions including resource data management, resource modelling and underground mine production control.
It will also see closer integration between Micromine’s principal applications, MICROMINE (mine design and modelling tool), GBIS (data management system), PITRAM (mine product control system) and DOME (mine production management system).
With the development of MasterMine, you will significantly benefit from a single-vendor solution that will facilitate strategic enterprise management.
As soon as early prototypes of the solution are ready to be tested, we will begin trialling the outcomes of the MasterMine solution with you, our customers.
