Smart Mining Solutions


The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) works with industry clients to develop Smart Mining Solutions for uranium, gold, potash, diamonds, rare earths, and base metal mining. SRC provides a wide range of services supporting the full cycle of mining operations: exploration, mine development, mine operation, processing, waste management, decommissioning and site reclamation. Geoanalytical Laboratories has been providing high-quality analysis to the exploration and mining industry since 1972. Advanced Microanalysis Centre adds to the suite of analytical services offered through advanced equipment and techniques such as microprobe, XRF and XRD analysis. Development Engineering assists mining clients in the design, development and integration of electronic and electro-mechanical mining systems and instrumentation. Mineral Processing and Metallurgical Testing Services helps clients improve processing productivity in an environmentally and economically sustainable way. Pipe Flow Technology Centre is equipped to enable full-scale physical modelling of the complex pipe flow behaviour of slurries and crude oil mixtures.
