AbrecoPlate® is a premium wear material that simply outlasts other materials on the market today; it's a composite of extremely wear-resistant, high-alloy, high-carbide cast white iron 700+ BHN (64 Rc) that is metallurgically bonded to a mild steel backer plate. The backer plate provides weld ability and impact resistance. AbrecoPipe® is the world’s first and only centrifugally cast, bimetallic, seamless piping for severe abrasion and erosion that can be formed into long radius elbows, consisting of a chrome white iron inner wear layer metallurgically bonded to a ductile steel outer layer (4-in. to 34-in. OD). Both AbrecoPlate® and AbrecoPipe® outperform chrome carbide overlays by a factor of five.
