Mine Cable Services (MCS) Corporation designs and manufactures medium voltage cable connection systems, cable repair equipment and cable handling systems. MCS offers a full range of cable couplers including 5kV, 8kV, 15kV, and 25kV. Couplers manufactured by MCS are compatible with all other couplers of NA design. MCS junction boxes and cable posi-clamp systems have been designed to meet the rigors of minesite environments including dust and moisture. MCS’ hydraulic cable vulcanizing system is fully automatic, using Teflon-coated cable molds to produce flexible and waterproof cable repairs. MCS also provides a complete line of cable repair materials, including Neoprene, Hypalon, and TPU jacketing material. Cable handling and safety equipment includes cable reelers, cable stands, strain relief clamps, cable safety locks, and cable crossover systems. With facilities in Canada, and a network of distributors in Latin America, MCS provides cable connections, cable repair and cable handling solutions to clients worldwide.
